Painted from a photo I took in Somerset County, I always love painting water. This is the original way the painting looked, I also uploaded another enchanced with violet color, to give another feel. I gave this painting to my much loved daughter-in-law because she is to be celebrated...what a gift she has been.
Past- 1972-73 Attended Pittsburgh, Universal Art Academy. 1973-74 Attended Ivy Professional School of Art Member of various Artist Associations, participate in shows with awards & honors. Present - Member of Somerset County Artists. Participate in occasional shows. Have limited the clubs and shows in the past several years, finding it difficult to find time to paint and attend meetings. I still create sculptured realistic food and clothing for 18" American Girl Dolls, but that too has slowed and inventory is almost gone. Thanks so much Wayne, I was impressed with your work as well, you not only have a lot of patience, but talent with the ability to place all those little dots in their proper place! I like the use of your color choices as well, I hope you continue to work in your special technique, you don't see many artists practicing it. I think your work would make great illustrations for childrens books especially. Maybe you should consider sending in some of your pics to editors that publish wildlife stories and information.
