Laurel Arts is the center for the arts, located in the town of Somerset, Pa. This gazebo is located on the grounds surrounding the main building where classes, meetings and art exhibits are held regularly. I just loved how inviting this is,
makes me want to go up the steps and just sit down for a while.
Past- 1972-73 Attended Pittsburgh, Universal Art Academy. 1973-74 Attended Ivy Professional School of Art Member of various Artist Associations, participate in shows with awards & honors. Present - Member of Somerset County Artists. Participate in occasional shows. Have limited the clubs and shows in the past several years, finding it difficult to find time to paint and attend meetings. I still create sculptured realistic food and clothing for 18" American Girl Dolls, but that too has slowed and inventory is almost gone.
