Description
This is a photo taken of the seven foot bronze coal lminer by Alan Cottrill of
Zanesville, Ohio. It honors all Southwestern Pa. coal miners, past and present...It sits at the site of Quecreek Mine Rescue... the nine miners who were trapped 240 feet underground for 77 hours and were miraculously rescued.
Again, as I stated before, I am not trying to make money off of the 9/11 or this
mine rescue, nine for nine... If I sell any prints, the profit will be forwarded on to
the memorial set up at Dormel Farms. Lori and Bill Arnold. You can read all about it in their book Miracle at Dormel Farms available at the web site
www.quecreekrescue.org. So far to date, I sold one print and sent the ten dollars
that I received onto the memorial. (Aug. 1, 2011)

Thank you for your kind comments. I hope that the story behind these prints becomes well known all over the world. It was covered in news as it happened and millions of prayers went up, and millions of prayers were answered... A book with the story in is available at www.quecreekrescue.org. I don't make any thing off of this, I am just amazed at what actually happened there and hope to get the story out there more than it is. I sold one print so far, and forwarded the ten dollars from it that I received to the memorial fund.
